Joseph Stalin ruled the Soviet Union for 25 years after a long World War 1. Being in poverty, Stalin created Stalinism where he became an unquestioned leader who sent millions to the Gulag Archipelago. With supreme power and a leader of a superpower, Stalin not only changed the system in the USSR by taking away freedom of speech, assembly, and organization, but he also left his legacy to strike fear into many countries and change them to communism.

His dad was very abusive and Joseph could not wait to get out of the house.
